Magic prices come from TCGplayer and Cardmarket via Scryfall. Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh prices come from TCGplayer, Cardmarket, and eBay through the Pokemon TCG API and YGOPRODeck. Sports, Lorcana, One Piece, and graded cards use recent eBay sold listings and are labeled as estimates. You can also set your own value for any card.

No. When you scan a card, the photo is sent once to our AI identification service to read the card, then discarded. It is never stored on our servers.

No. Your collection lives on your device. An account is only needed to sync your subscription across devices and to post in the Community.

Enter the certification number from the slab label (or scan the slab). SlabX checks it against the PSA certification database and shows the grade, year, and brand on record.

No. AI valuations are informational estimates based on recent sales data and are clearly labeled. Always verify with real sold listings before buying or selling.

Anything that can be graded and whose certificate we can actually look up. Today that is trading cards, sports cards, and PCGS-graded coins and banknotes. Comics, video games, stamps, and Funko join as each grader's cert data becomes available; we do not add a category we cannot verify.

That is where SlabX is headed. Legacy handoff, in design now, lets you name a successor and transfer a collection with its full history intact: every grade, price, photo, and note. Nothing about it is live yet, and we will publish the details before it ships.

The record is free forever: scanning and search, cert verification for every supported grader, the history ledger, your photos, CSV export, and the Community. Paid plans add things that cost us money or take real analysis: AI valuation and insights, more camera identifications per day, custom themes, Market Pulse, custom dashboards, and more collections.

One photo sent to the recognition service to identify a card, comic, or slab label. Hobby includes 10 a day, Collector 40, Investor 100. Typing a name into Search, entering a cert number, and adding from the catalog never count.

Yes, opening with the public launch. Creators get a code and a link; every collector who signs up with the code and subscribes pays the creator a share of net subscription revenue for 12 months, and the share rises with redemptions. Details and the application are on the Creator program page.

A flat amount on each side of a trade plus a percentage of any cash difference, itemized on the offer sheet before anyone accepts. Payments run on Stripe; SlabX holds the payment until both sides confirm delivery. Exact amounts are published before the marketplace launches.

Subscriptions are managed by the App Store or Google Play and can be canceled anytime in your device settings. You can delete your account from Settings inside the app; cloud data is removed within 30 days. Cards stored on your device are unaffected.

Yes. Any card can carry a manual value, and the app tells you when a value is yours rather than the market's.

Your collection, prices, and history are stored on the device, so you can browse without a connection. Scanning, price refresh, and PSA lookups need a network.

You list an item from your collection at a fixed price and choose who pays shipping. The buyer pays SlabX on Stripe's checkout, the label is bought through SlabX so tracking is on the order, and the seller is paid to their own Stripe account after the carrier confirms delivery and a 48 hour window passes. Fees are itemized before anyone pays. United States only for now.

It means the member matched a government ID and a selfie through Stripe Identity. Anyone can verify at any time from Settings, before they buy or sell. SlabX stores only whether it passed and the date; the documents stay with Stripe. The badge shows next to the member's name on listings, profiles, posts, and comments. It is not a rating of their items or prices.

The seller decides per listing. If the buyer pays, live carrier rates appear at checkout and the exact rate chosen is added to the total. If the seller pays, they buy the label after the sale and its cost comes out of their payout. Either way the label is bought through SlabX at the carrier rate, so tracking is on the order, and orders above the insurance line ship insured for the full price.

Yes. A shop applies from its SlabX account with a name, web address, location, policies, and a logo. SlabX approves each shop by hand. Approved shops get a storefront page, their name on every listing, stock quantities so one listing can sell many times, and business payout onboarding through Stripe. Every shop order still runs through SlabX's payment holding, tracked labels, insurance, and dispute window.
